The real meat of this book is the complete instructions on how to become self-employed. It goes beyond ideas for businesses, though there are plenty of them, too.
There is plenty of advice available about how to start a home business but Levinson takes this advice further by showing you how to gain a self-employed mindset. Success in your own business is determined by your attitude, and this book will help steer you in the right direction.
The business ideas are grouped into four sections: No Capital Needed, Tiny Capital Needed, Earning from Your Home, and If You Have Wheels. Some of the ideas have the potential to make a full-time income and some will only bring in a few dollars.
In this book you will learn how to earn, using one or more ideas. In fact, Levinson recommends deriving income from more than one source. Only in this way are you free, because losing one source of income will not be a hardship if you have multiple sources. Good advice from a guy who practices this very thing.
